How good is the performance of the software for loading and reading large trajectories/systems?
It is actually pretty good given that you have a reasonable amount of RAM (8GB). The largest trajectory I showed today contained circa 130000 atoms and 2000 frames. I have been working with VIAMD with trajectory up to few millions atoms without problems.
