Hello,
I am trying to create a new project for (PDB 4oie) and the system does not allow me, incorrectly reporting: “PDB file exceeds maximum number of Atoms (20000)”.
This is not true, the raw PDB has 1551 atoms (including the waters).
Then I tried with the Ubiquitin (PDB 1ubq), the example in the tutorials, and the outcome was exactly the same.
Can you please help solve the issue?
Thank you.
Hi,
we are having technical problems recently with this server. We’ll try to fix them as soon as possible.
In the meantime, I would strongly suggest you to take a look at the new servers and notebooks we have made available, following the idea behind MDWeb, but using new versions of the MD engines (the last MDWeb update was in 2014) and new technology. In particular, please take a look at:
- BioExcel Building Blocks Demonstration Workflows (Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, Python CLI, etc.)
- BioExcel Building Blocks Workflow server (Web-based portal, similar to MDWeb)
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help or more information.
Thanks for using our tools!
Regards,
-Adam-
Hi Adam,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Is there any chance your webserver would be up again in the next few weeks? If yes, I would like to use it for teaching and demonstration purpose during this semester.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I’m afraid the technical problems we are having are not as easy to solve
Could you share a bit more information about the “teaching and demonstration” parts of the webserver that you are interested in? (you can contact me by DM, adam.hospital@irbbarcelona.org).
As most of the functionalities available in MDWeb were ported to the new BioBB web server, I am quite sure that you could also use the latter one.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
-Adam-
