(Guru Interface) Randomly exclude a fraction of the ambiguous restraints (AIRs)

Hi guys, may i know what’s the purpose of randomly excluding a portion of AIR restraint?

To reduce background noises? If that;s the case, how?

What’s the repercussion of switching it off? thanks.

Dealing with potential false positives. The data are in most cases not perfect.
It all depends where the info comes from.

what if the active residues excluded are the vital one for correct docking??

since it’s random??

Each model uses a different combination of restraints.
So some might indeed come from case when the good restraints are removed and some from cases where bad restraints are removed.

This is our default since 15 years… But you can of course turn it off.
